(Ed. Note - I wrote this nearly a year ago with the intention of creating and updating a Sharks blog. This has not happened YET. Not just any blog, but a blog for the greatest team in the world, the San Jose Sharks. Blog.
The San Jose Sharks have been among the leagues elite teams for some years now, yet their fan presence on the web has been lacking in my experience. Google "San Jose Sharks blog" and you'll hit a staggering 0 updated sites since the season began, and lord knows there's been plenty to be excited about thus far.
So what're you gonna see here? Anything and everything related to our boys in teal. Recaps of visits to The Tank, bitching about beer prices, analyzing the Sharks lines, authentic vs. replica jerseys - if there's something going on related to the Sharks, I want to talk about it. And anyone that was around me yelling "Where the fuck is Nils" every postseason game will tell you, when they do something stupid, I'm going to be pissed about it and berate them. I pledge to keep my fanboydom to a minimum.
I hope I can be a voice of the people. I've only become a hockey fan from sitting in the seats as a youngster, having no idea of the whirlwind, heart-wrenching, thrilling spectacle about to take place in front of me. I drink beer, sit in the cheap seats, and yell my ass off with all of you. And whether your last name is Wilson, you sharpen the skates, are going to your first game or your hundredth, we all want the same thing: the immaculate Lord Stanley's Cup in our fair city of San Jose.
